Elevator Outage Disrupts Programs at Center at the Heights

NEEDHAM — The elevator at the Center at the Heights is out of service, and town officials say repairs are underway. Some programs normally held on the building's second floor are being relocated to the first floor or canceled while the work continues, according to a town alert posted Tuesday.

TOWN HALL

The town's Center at the Heights, a hub for Needham's Council on Aging programming, confirmed the elevator outage in a News Flash posted Tuesday afternoon. Repairs are in progress, but officials gave no timeline for when service will resume. In the meantime, residents attending second-floor programs should expect some sessions moved downstairs or called off, and the town advised checking ahead before visiting for scheduled activities.
