YOUTH LEAGUES -- The Needham Youth Hockey Association's holiday store closes Wednesday, Oct. 28, at midnight, according to the organization's website. Separately, Friends of Needham Hockey announced a skills clinic at Babson on Wednesday, Nov. 18, from 1:15 to 2:45 p.m., coinciding with a half day for Needham schools. The clinic will be run by the Needham High School boys' and girls' varsity hockey teams and is recommended for players in the U8, U10 and U12 age groups. Organizers are limiting the session to the first 30 signups and require a completed Google sign-up and waiver prior to attending. The youth hockey association also confirmed that registration is open for its Learn to Play and Learn to Skate programs, both linked through the organization's website.
