Needham Youth Hockey opens registration for three entry-level programs as the summer break continues.

NEEDHAM -- With Needham High School off the ice and out of season, the week's lone reported sports item comes from the town's youth hockey program.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- The Needham Youth Hockey Association announced that registration is open for three of its entry-level offerings: Mite Development, Learn to Play, and Learn to Skate. The association also reminded families to register skaters with USA Hockey for the 2026-27 season and to update each skater's USA Hockey number on their NYHA Crossbar account profile. The organization's website noted its in-house and travel programs are on summer break, telling members "Enjoy your summer! See you in late August."
