Needham Technology Advisory Board Elects Ducci Chair in 5-0 Vote
Other Committee · Meeting of June 25, 2026
Needham Technology Advisory Board elects Richard Ducci as chair and sets a fall meeting schedule. Outgoing Chair Michael Mathias stepped down voluntarily at the June 25 meeting after more than a year in the role, citing the time demands of the position. Ducci was elected chair 5-0 on a roll-call vote; Lee was elected vice chair in a contested roll call decided by Mathias's tiebreaker vote; and member Rob Dangle was appointed secretary by unanimous vote after being asked directly by the new chair.
A staff member reported that the town's enterprise resource planning software implementation remains on schedule, with focus-group sessions underway across payroll, accounts payable, human resources, general ledger, and inventory teams mapping existing workflows to the cloud-based system — with no customization planned beyond reporting. The board set meetings for September 17, November 19, and January 21, 2027, with a possible October date to be determined in September once capital budget submission timelines become clearer.
