If those local approvals fail, the town manager said the ballot question would shift to April 2027, with potential cost escalation. The board also heard from Deputy Town Manager Dave Davison that the net new annual town-side operating cost for the new building would be approximately $1.6 million, phased in over three fiscal years against the roughly $1.7 million currently spent on the existing Pollard and High Rock schools.
